Esmé Studios has an ambition to provide transparency into the apparel and textile industry. The philosophy is that it should be easy and clear for all consumers to know what their clothes are made from and how it’s produced.
All collections are based on organic and sustainable materials, produced at certified factories. Furthermore, Esmé is constantly embracing new innovations in the production methods to lower its carbon footprint and impact on the environment. This mindset and aspirations are what makes Esmé Studios a noteworthy advocate for turning the fashion industry into a more transparent and sustainable business.
Garments from Esmé bring you both comfort and a clean conscious. All designs are timeless pieces for a long-lasting life and throughout the value chain, two important things are in focus: humans and nature. Sustainability, environmental as well as social, are key drivers for promoting only organic, recycled fibres and eco-friendly textiles.
Esmé Studios is not only about comfort for the body but also for the mind and soul. Their apparel is a conscious manifestation to create sustainable fashion that is socially responsible. All products are produced by certified factories, collections are made with organic sustainable materials, and partners are set on reducing water consumption.
Esmé Studios work exclusively with partners who live up to the highest standards and requirements with respect to working conditions. Their partners are BSCI, Fairtrade and GOTS certified. Suppliers and factories are visited with frequency to monitor the process from fabric to finished product. Lastly, the fabrics used in their products are pure and chemical-free.
When you add all these factors together you get a supply chain that is transparent and farmers and factory workers, who are happier and healthier. However, it is not only ethical production that is a cornerstone of Esmé Studios. The materials of their products and their innovative ambitions are also what makes them sustainable.
Esmé collections are mainly made with natural fibres that are biodegradable compared to common, more damaging, synthetic fibres. These natural fibres do not release dangerous chemicals into the atmosphere during decomposition and the process is much quicker than with synthetics.
Esmé Studios also keep their water consumption as low as possible with the use of organic cotton from India. The cotton is grown with rainwater in rainfed regions and partners are skilled at optimizing during the dry season to reserve rainwater. Farming partners also do not use any dangerous fertilizers, insecticides or pesticides.
Adding all these factors together make Esmé Studios a top brand for sustainable fashion.
We love how Esmé aspires to transform the apparel and textile industry. Esmé definitely stands out from the crowd as they only work with natural and organic materials and monitor the entire process from fabric to finished product. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for Esmé and continue to follow them on their sustainable journey.
