About The Comarché

GRAPHIC DESIGNER OR MULTIMEDIA INTERNSHIP

Do you dream of a sustainable world and wish to make a difference? Do you have a passion for creating visually appealing materials and campaigns? Are you a perfectionist with a creative mind who can also think out-of-the-box?

The Comarché is looking for a Part-time or Full-time Intern specialised in Graphic Design or Multi-Media to join our Marketing team in Copenhagen for a min. of 4-6 months or longer.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Graphic Designer & Multi-Media intern you will be assisting our marketing and branding team in the design and development of various activities, such as campaigns, sales materials, advertising, etc. We are looking for a skilled intern that will be instrumental in the team’s conception and design of storytelling and engaging assets. You will bring creativity to the team when solving problems, and lift our deliverables with function, craft and scale in mind. As we are a sustainability-driven company, being environmentally conscious doesn’t hurt, either.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

- Develop and create presentations, campaigns and branding assets, such as: visuals of product flows, highlights of our brand campaigns, newsletters, sales leave-behinds for both digital and print, and much more.

- Help elevate the stories we tell and the branding material we produce, and make sure our value proposition sings in the most engaging, compelling and convincing way possible.

- Adjust the design and further develop graphic elements for our current websites: thecomarche.com and acumemagazine.com, ensuring that everything we do builds a consistent brand identity over time and across all platforms and channels.

- Assist in the Art Direction of Acumé Magazine and help with its running and operation on WordPress.

- Assist in the visual planning of SoMe activities for both The Comarché and Acumé Magazine.

Candidate Profile:

- A creative, innovative and visual mind, with a genuine interest in communication and how messages are enhanced with the help of graphic design.

- Strong hands-on design skills and a passion for aesthetics and graphic elements. You love to get your hands dirty and translate strategy into well-crafted execution.

- Knowledge and experience (min. beginners level) with design programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, XD and optional Premiere Pro or other similar programs.

- Well-versed in presentation materials such as Power Point, Google Slides and Keynote.

- Great collaboration skills and willingness to bring creative ideas to the table.

- A can-do attitude, detail-oriented, and highly organized.

- Proactive approach to problem solving and handling new tasks.

- Remain flexible and positive if designs need to change or direction is modified.

- Excellent English skills in written and verbal communication.

INTERNSHIP DETAILS

The internship is unpaid and to be seen as an opportunity to supplement your education and gain hands-on knowledge and relevant in-depth experience. You will be part of a small team in Copenhagen and we offer the possibility to work at our office in central Copenhagen or remote from your home – a mix of the two is preferred. Starting date as soon as possible, according to agreement.

Please note that we only accept interns who can stay with us for a minimum of 4-6 months or longer. This is to ensure the full value of the internship for both parties. There will for the right candidate be a possibility of employment after the termination of the internship.
