Vintage ceramic stoneware vase by the Danish ceramist Tove Sandholdt Gaub. The vase is glazed in burnt yellow, blue, black and natural nuances. It is signed on its base with TG – S1104 – XII 30, where TG are the initials of Tove Gaub. This vase is our second piece by Tove Gaub in our Vintage Collection.
Tove Sandholdt Gaub was born on February 18th, 1945. She was a versatile artist who did pottery, watercolour painting, croquis drawing, photography, graphics, acrylic painting and silk painting. Tove lived her life on the Danish island of Zealand until she passed on June 17th, 2019 after a full life of 74 years old with art in its many aspects.
The vase is in mint condition – without scratches, shards, cracks or the like.
