Vintage ceramic stoneware vase from Tremar Pottery in England. The vase has a Celtic design on one side and a douche glaze on the other. The vase is signed with “Tremar U.K.”.
Tremar Pottery ran from the beginning of the 1960s until the mid 1980s. The pottery studio was founded by Roger and Doreen Birkett in Tremar, a town in the eastern part of Cornwall, England. In the 1970s the couple began designing and producing collector’s items such as small ceramic animals, people, automobiles, boats and similar pieces. The ceramics shop closed in the mid 1980s due to various financial problems.
The vase is in mint condition – without scratches, shards, cracks or the like.
